Taking you, your team, your organization, your community to the next level.
Catalyst for Growth is a coaching, training, and consulting practice committed to working with individuals, groups, and organizations to put their talents and strengths to best use. I help clients figure out how to pursue goals and outcomes that deeply matter to them without shortchanging the need for self-care. In other words, I coach clients on how to do well while doing good. I also help clients uncover breakthrough innovative solutions for their problems through the use of systems and design thinking and collaborative inquiry. I help them become more effective by helping them work more cohesively and collaboratively with others. Catalyst for Growth specializes in life coaching, leadership development, professional effectiveness consulting, team building, organizational development, and process facilitation.
I serve men and women who are community oriented and mission driven — social movers and shakers, supporters and advocates, and those who are passionate about making a difference. I care about helping those who create conditions for others to grow, blossom, and thrive. My practice especially targets social change agents, artists/cultural workers, spiritual community leaders, non-profit managers, and others who actively work toward the betterment of our world. My purpose is to help support clients to step into the biggest shoes they can fill, while simultaneously staying healthy and smart. By healthy I mean physically and emotionally grounded, personally integrated, and connected with community and their most authentic selves. By smart I mean effective, productive, and able to wisely do what is necessary. Given the vast number of complex social problems we are facing, many of us are being called to manifest a new, more robust kind of leadership. Key questions many of us ask ourselves are
- 1) how do I make best use of my time, energy, and skill;
- 2) how do I stay healthy and inspired amidst such colossal problems;
- 3) how can I positively and productively influence my personal and professional relationships;
- 4) how do I strategically align my purpose, values, and goals with others in order to collaboratively and productively evolve our complex and ever shifting environment.
These are areas where I can help you gain greater clarity and footing. By catalyzing your ability to better adapt to the demands of current circumstances, I can position you to be poised to make a much bigger impact.
I also have a strong interest in fostering community dialogue and collaborative projects that target reinventing our social systems and pioneering new societal institutions. I call this sociocultural architecting.
